2025 Christmas Parade

Time - 5pm
Deadline to apply to be part of judging - December 3rd at 4pm 
We are only allowing 2 entries per song - you will receive an email confirmation with your confirmed song choice. 

Lineup will be on TN Waltz North (Braxton Inn end of Bypass) - Route will go from the North end of Main Street (Clarksville Side) to the South end of Main Steet (Nashville Side). There will be a tent at on the bypass where you will get your number, this will be placed on the passenger side of your vehicle then you will move up into the line. You will need to bring something to attach the number to your vehicle. 

  1. The parade will go in reverse again this year, from the north end of the bypass (Clarksville side) to the south end of the bypass (Nashville side). This will give us more room to line up floats, it is safer with the more room and it will cause less issues with traffic.
  2. The north end of the bypass will close at 2:00, floats can start entering the staging area at 2:00 not before, the staging area will close at 4:00. You MUST be in the staging area by 4:00 to be in the parade. 
  3. You will need to pick a location for everyone to meet prior to getting into the parade's staging area. If you have multiple floats that you want to be together, you will need to arrive in the staging area together. We will not be able to move floats around to get you all together. Please arrive how you want to go through the parade. 
  4. If your float is in the staging area and someone needs to get onto it - they will need to park at Riverbluff walk the trail going under the Cumberland Bridge up to the bypass. Or park at the Tennis courts and walk up to the bypass. We will NOT allow cars down the bypass to drop off people, please relay this to your group.
  5. Walkers and horses will need to come through the staging area, get your number/letter and then gather at the parking lot at Higher's Propane; walkers can be picked up at Riverbluff Park. Horses will be at he end of the parade line.
  6. Band please met at Higher's Propane parking lot. 
  7. You will need to bring something to attach the number (if you are being judged) or letter (if you not being judged) to the passenger side of your vehicle. These do not need to be returned. 
  8. Please have some sort of banner on your float/vehicle to show the name of your business/club.

I understand that the Staging area will be open from 2pm to 4pm. If I am not in line by 4pm I will not be able to be judged.

I/We, in consideration of entry and participation in the Town of Ashland City Christmas Parade, shall release, indemnify, and hold harmless the Town of Ashland City and all employees and volunteers from all claims of injuries, costs, loss, claim of liability arising from, reasonable attorney’s fees, which arise from, connected with, or due to any errors, omissions, or negligent acts associated with entry and participation in the Town of Ashland City’s Christmas Parade. I hereby grant full permission to the Town of Ashland City and/or agents authorized by them to take photographs, video, and record or produce communications of this event for publicity, promotion, media coverage and other legitimate purpose. I hereby certify and declare I am at least 18 years of age, under no legal disability and have the full right and authority to execute this consent and release for myself and my organization. Further, I have read the parade rules listed below, and understand this is a family friendly event and I will be held responsible for the entry listed below and agree to maintain a level of appropriateness acceptable for children. I certify that any vehicle(s) which will be driven by me (if any) in the Parade has insurance which conforms to the laws of the State of Tennessee and that I have a current valid license. ***The Town of Ashland City reserves the right to disqualify any participants at any time.***
