The Town of Ashland City, an Equal Opportunity, Affirmative Action Employer, seeks to
retain the services of a professional consultant engineering firm to provide services related
to CEI Services during construction of the Cumberland River Bicentennial Trail - Phase
1 Project. This project will extend the Bicentennial trail (From the Existing Trailhead at
Chapmansboro Road to State Route 455 (Tennessee Waltz Parkway) and allow for safe
pedestrian crossings. The trail extension will convert 2800-feet of rail bed to a hard surfaced
10-foot ADA compliant pedestrian using only path that will provide linear connectivity to
the existing trail crossing TN-455/TN Waltz Parkway. The project shall be accomplished in
accordance with TDOT Local Programs guidelines. The professional consultant engineering
consulting firm must be on TDOT’s pre-approved list or have a completed pre-qualification
form filed with TDOT by the deadline for the Letters of Interest.
Firms may request consideration by submitting a letter of interest along with qualifications
to the Town of Ashland City, 405 N. Main Street, Ashland City, TN 37015 Attn:
Mary Molepske/ City Recorder. All letters of interest must be received by the Town of
Ashland City on or before 2:00 PM CST Tuesday, June 9, 2026. The letter of interest and
qualifications shall indicate the scope of services to be completed by any sub-consultants.
There will be a selection committee that will review and notify the awarded firm. The
